Hello and welcome to the help page for employee e mail. Getting your e mail will be a very easy process as long as the instructions are followed. Belive me none of this is hard even if you do not use e mail or a computer much or even at all.
When you click on the link that says E- mail for employees you will go to a page with a prompt box on it that will look a lot like the one below. Using firefox browser the result for clicking the e mail link will something like this:
Just type in your username that Mark3 gave you form HQ.If you are unsure give him a call but the names were made using your name as so: firstlastname@amfmechanical.com. If your name is John Doe your login is johndoe@amfmechanical.com.Your password will be whatever Mark3 gave you form HQ, and you will be changing this password later. If you are using a different browser like Internet Explorer it will look different but you do the same thing. Once you fill in your user name and Password click the OK button.
If all went well then you should see something like this, also for downloading reasons I cut out some of this browser page in order to download faster. What you see is all you need to continue following instructions.
Note that here is where you can change your password and its very strongly recommended that you do this now. Yes even before you write your first e mail,. as we all get busy and I gave everybody a generic password knowing that you would be changing it. Just click the change password button and follow on screen instructions. Also I only want to give instructions on one of these mail programs. I have chosen horde. It does not matter which one you use but I will only be showing horde page(s) and if you decide to use squirrel mail then all I ask is know what you are doing. If you get stuck and need help and are using squirrel you could be ask to set up using horde.
After changing your E- mail password you should see something like below.
If you have made it here then you are ready to compose mail read it and all the other things that your current E- mail program allows you to do. If you need futher help the contact Mark3 at HQ and he will do what he can to get you E- mail ready. E-Mail for employees
